House of Local Craftsmen of the Hautes-Alpes
The popular art of the Hautes-Alpes, the richness of the heritage, the local know-how and the desire to group together gave rise to the Maison des Artisans du Grand Briançonnais 'Au coeur de l'Alpe'. This project is part of a logic of local promotion of know-how.
It is today: about twenty workshops gathered from the Briançonnais, the Guillestrois, the Pays des Ecrins, the Queyras and the Ubaye.
This collective of artists and craftsmen specialises in the reproduction and restoration of antique furniture from the Briançonnais and Queyras regions, as well as in the creation of kitchens and fittings, stained glass windows, sundials, etc.
Unique, handmade pieces made from local species such as larch, hooked pine, Scots pine and Cembro pine are offered for direct sale.
An authentic showcase to discover, a traditional house of yesteryear with guaranteed products.
