Golf
When they are not covered in snow, the two golf courses in the Hautes-Alpes, Gap-Bayard and Montgenèvre, are synonymous with pure air and amazing views over the surrounding summits and the pleasant golf courses.
Neighbouring the Italian golf course in Clavière, Montgenèvre offers an 18-hole international course. This mountain golf course is at the bottom of the slopes and the starting point for hole number one is in the heart of the village.
Gap-Bayard also has an 18-hole golf course. Accessible to golfers of all levels, the course is considered technical and varied. Each hole offers a different view over the mountains of the Parc national des Écrins (Écrins National Park) or the hills of the Val de Durance. It is probably one of the most beautiful mountain golf courses in France.
