Chalet St Jean can accommodate up to 30 people (24 people for groups of minors). It can be split into 2 parts: the 'house' part up to 7 beds, and the 'farm' up to 23 beds
Located in the small traditional village of Chazelet (La Grave - Hautes Alpes) at 1,800 m above sea level facing the sumptuous bar of the Ecrins massif and La Meije (3,983 m), Chalet St Jean is an ideal place to stay to practice winter and summer mountain activities in groups.
The Chalet, which has been welcoming since 1950, is made up of an old farmhouse renovated while retaining its authentic character. It is approved for Youth & Sports standards under N ° 050-630-005.
On site, the groups are autonomous; the keys are therefore handed over on arrival and returned on departure.
Chalet St Jean can accommodate up to 30 people (24 people for groups of minors). It can be divided into 2 parts: the 'house' part up to 7 beds, and the 'farm' up to 23 beds. The rooms are distributed as follows:
1. Lower ground floor: common rooms
Kitchen: collectively equipped with 1 piano, two sinks, and a capacity of 40 place settings
Refectory: large room for meals and common activities
Entertainment room: common activities
Sanitary block N ° 1, equipped with 2 showers, 2 toilets and sink
2. Upper ground floor: intermediate floor
Ski room, which is also the main entrance
Sanitary block n ° 2, with 3 showers, 2 toilets and a large sink
Bedroom: 1 bunk bed
Dormitory 'Mother Teresa', with 3 bunk beds
Studio (independent entrance), with a double bed, a small bathroom and a small kitchen
3. 1st floor: bedrooms and dormitories
Dormitory 'Christian de Chergé', with 12 beds (4 bunk beds and 4 single beds)
Room 'Giorgio Frassati' with a double bed that can be separated into 2 single beds
Nursing room with a single bed
Dormitory 'Claire de Castelbajac' with 5 beds (2 bunk beds and 1 single bed).
