Festival Musiqueyras - Wednesday, July 23, 2024
On the program for this Wednesday, July 23 :
FOLK DANCE WORKSHOP with Marie Claire 16h-18h free open to all at l'Ogival
6:30pm ASTERA
Astera is a diatonic accordion duo made up of Simon Gielen and Guillaume Aubert, offering a sonic adventure that will make your shoes vibrate and your ears tickle! With melodies as refined as a good cheese and rhythms as catchy as a crispy French fry, this Franco-Belgian duo will take you on a whirlwind of music that's both energetic and intimate, in a warm atmosphere that'll make you feel right at home.
7.45pm LOUBELYA Trio
Both intimate and eloquent, virtuoso and popular, Trio Loubelya's dance is moving and stirring. Just like the complicity forged between its members, from ball to ball on the roads of Europe. The sublimated breath of the accordion provides a playground where clarinet and saxophones, sometimes subtle, sometimes mischievous, challenge the round depth of the double bass.
Three strong personalities - Marie Constant, Florent Lalet and Rolland Martinez - merge to form a fourth: the Trio Loubelya. Loubelya means alive. https://loubelya.fr
