Open only during Summer season; Winter the Cave is under meters of snow!
Big construction site this year to be able to open the ice cave from La Girose glacier! The ice cave goes 24 m down per year and it comes on a flat glacier which puts it on compression; the galleries due to this become withdrawn! The sculptures deform themselves ant the ice cave tends to tip over, what reduces the slope inside limiting the evacuation of the water which infiltrates by cracks. To work with the nature asks to adapt itself! The visitors can come to discover the new sculptures from in the middle of June...
