Art Sacré museum
In the chapel of St Pierre, the museum houses one of the finest collections of sacred art in the Hautes-Alpes.
It has found its place in the heart of the old chapel of the penitents of the village.
When you enter this marvellous environment, you will be surprised to discover an unusual presentation of the religious heritage of the 31 chapels and churches that still exist in the commune. The lighting effects and warm atmosphere reveal the high artistic quality of the works.
Polychrome wooden statues, Aubusson tapestries, wooden statuary, silverware and liturgical ornaments from the 15th and 19th centuries have been chosen for you, for the pleasure of your eyes and for the history they carry.
