Romanesque chapel of Saint-Cyrice
There was a succession of canons until the 15th century; the land was then managed by the Abbot of Lagrand until the French Revolution.
Many buildings were plundered of 'safre', soft stone that was particularly prized when it bore the hallmarks of the stonecutter.

Des chanoines, antonins puis augustins, s'y succédèrent jusqu'au XVe siècle; les terres seront ensuite gérées par l'Abbé de Lagrand jusqu'à la révolution.
On pilla de nombreux bâtiments de leurs pierres de safre, des pierres particulièrement appréciées lorsqu'elles portaient des marques de tâcheron, sortes de signatures gravées par les tailleurs de pierres afin de se faire payer leur travail.
