Inspired by gypsy music, gypsy jazz and the electric music of the 40s and 50s, from Django to Zappa, Stéphane Sanseverino has been putting out zany, virtuoso performances for 20 years.
Passing from gypsy swing to rock and blues with ease, his albums cover decades of music and influences, always with virtuosity and accuracy.
' As I write this little description of my new live project, it doesn't yet have a
title. The album, which finished recording yesterday, hasn't been mixed or titled either,
it's not serious... On the other hand, it's playing seriously!
The influences come a bit from Africa, the blues of the 70s but also the funk of
New Orleans.
As far as the lyrics go, I must admit I've totally forgotten to censor myself... '

LE PIED DE LA POMPE
Le Pied de la Pompe, Le Pied DLP , LPdLP, whatever the name, as long as it makes sense;
Since 2007, the Breton combo has been clearly part of a festive and singular energy.
The band plays with codes and continues to move forward to the rhythm of a unique folk rock, with a sound that's more upfront than ever, with a single watchword: to play and share their vision of a world in which the worst can rub shoulders with the best. It shakes things up a bit, and it's good for you!
Le PIED DLP knows how to combine the festive and the vindictive, and never stops shaking things up.
Over the years, the band has built up a loyal following, and continues to assert itself as a muscular, generous and sincere full band. Smiling and gritting their teeth at the same time, that's what LPdLP is all about.
The band released 'Hors-piste', their 5th studio album, in October 2023 (Baco Distribution), an album with a sound that's more organic and electric than ever, and which they'll be defending on tour in 2024.
