Avalanche Training Day
A day to learn self-rescue in the mountains.
Programme workshops - demonstrations - forum:
- 9h30: Welcome coffee
- 10h: Self-rescue workshops first session:
- self-rescue workshop
- avalanche transceiver (DVA) search workshop
- sounding and shovelling workshop
- first aid and care workshop
- 12h30: Official time by CCI Hautes-Alpes Formation and the Prefecture, feedback from CCI Formation instructors, the PGHM (Peloton de Gendarmerie de Haute Montagne) and the CRS Alpes (Compagnie Républicaine de Sécurité)
- 13h30 : Resumption of workshops, second session (self-rescue workshop, Avalanche Victim Detector (AVD) search workshop, sounding and shovelling workshop, first aid and care workshop)
- 5pm: Conference in the Salle du Dôme 'Preventing avalanche risk' led by Frédéric Jarry from ANENA
Workshops led by instructors from the CCI Hautes-Alpes Formation - CRET training centre: high mountain guide, mountain leader, alpine ski instructor, etc.
