Montgenèvre

At an altitude of 1860 m, Montgenèvre, established in 1907, is the oldest ski resort and combines the charm and character of a mountain village with the vast international “Voie Lactée” (Milky Way) ski resort that it shares with Sestrières and San Sicario. The resort was the balcony of the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin.

More than 400 kilometres of slopes link up from one side to the other of the Italian border. Montgenèvre is only 20 kilometres from Oulx (Italy), TGV station for the Paris-Milan line, and has a shuttle service and many other after-ski facilities such as the balneo-recreation centre Durancia.

Altitude : 1 860 m / 3 131 m
Number of kilometres of downhill skiing slopes: 110 km / 400 km pour la Voie Lactée (Milky Way).
