Agenda
Sound garden
Claire Bonnet and Pauline Decsone lead this musical awakening for toddlers, using a varied instrumentarium made up of real instruments or recycled objects that have been cobbled together or repurposed.
Children can marvel at the sound of a balafon and be amazed at the range of possibilities offered by a ping pong ball or a jam jar lid. What these instruments and objects have in common is that they produce a quality sound, which is the starting point for the desire to play them, and that they offer a wealth of possibilities for exploring the instrument, giving free rein to young children's ability to divert and create new ways of playing.
Each participant is free to accept what is offered in the way that suits him or her at the time, with no obligation to participate actively.
The two musicians present are there to play with the children and adults, to bounce off their suggestions, and to create a musical atmosphere conducive to sound exploration.
From 10 months.
