The cooperative was formed in 2005 from the merger of the Guil et Durance dairy cooperative (1971) and the Alpine dairy cooperative (1958).
Since 2010, the cooperative has been producing its own products under the Hautes Alpes Naturellement brand. This label guarantees that all its products come from local farms.
