I'd be delighted to show you around my department: the Hautes-Alpes, of which Gap is the prefecture.
To the north, we have the Alps, with their high peaks, the Ecrins National Park, with its luxuriant forests criss-crossed by tumultuous torrents, and the Dévoluy massif, our Dolomites with its great scree slopes.
To the south, Provence, with its cliffs, lakes and gorges where the water flows peacefully and invites you to swim.
The Gapençais is therefore ideally situated, on the border between Provence and the Alps, offering a wide variety of landscapes and benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, which has earned it the name of 'gentle capital'!
I'd be delighted to take you on a tour of this beautiful region, which is capable of surprising you every day with its great variety of nature and wildlife, and all this under the sun, which won't go unappreciated!
