Easy mountain biking: discover the best trails in Briançonnais with Azimut
D1 - La Guisane and Le Lautaret: between pass and river
For the first day of this mountain biking course in Serre Chevalier, welcome at the Briançon or Oulx-Cesana (TGV) train station. Transfer to Briançon, presentation and first approach to the equipment and technical elements essential to all-mountain mountain biking.
This first day of the course is an opportunity to gently acclimatize along the buccolic Guisane Valley, also known as the Serre Chevalier Valley. We cover the 20kms to reach our highlight of the day, the famous Col du Lautaret, with its 2042m altitude...you'll already have glitter in your eyes Kevin!
It's a 700m ascent that's all very gradual, and enhanced by some superb scenery. After a cup of coffee, we'll take the same route back down. A multitude of options are possible, depending on the mood and shape of the group. Back to Briançon for a thirst-quenching debriefing.

D2 - The beauty of the Clarée
This second day is dedicated to discovering the authentic, unspoilt Clarée valley.
A gradual, rural ascent, like that of the Guisane, brings us to the picturesque village of Névache. We then choose the most suitable and fun descent. The 'guidosse' will offer advice and technical exercises to help you progress and feel even more at ease!

D3 - In the Granon, everything's good!
Today's effort is moderate, but the scenery won't be! The watchword on this last day is 'enduro gift' :)
We start with a comfortable minibus drop-off at the summit of our famous Col du Granon 2404m, which will allow us to take full advantage of a great descent. Depending on whether we choose the Clarée side or the Guisane side, two valleys we're already familiar with, we'll follow a contemplative, unhurried route through a film set.
Whatever our choice, the technical level of the descent will remain affordable and pleasant, so that we can enjoy these Hautes Alpes mountains to the full...

D4 - The Canadian Mélèzin
We start this day on a Canadian note and pedal to our goal of the day, 'the mirror of the cembro pines'.
After lunch (no poutine, sorry!), we're off to the start of the sometimes technical, but above all fun, 'Mélèzin' single. We'll be able to put into practice all the advice we've received over the past few days.
A peaceful return with a break at the glacier, THE star around here...

D6 - Cervières paradise
A cool start to make the most of this final day of 'fireworks', without fireworks.
From Briançon we head for the Montgenèvre ski area along a long military road. We ride along the French-Italian border, through breathtaking landscapes superbly suited to electric mountain bikes. A sample of the planet Mars... Beware of landing on home-made ice!
Sadly, it's time to leave us, after a last sunny break before transferring to Briançon or Oulx.
