Serre Chevalier days

Every year, the Serre Chevalier Nature Association organises the 'Serre Chevalier Botanical Days', with the aim of offering a rich programme of workshops, talks and botanical walks.

During these days we aim to cater for young and old alike, from the amateur to the more experienced botanist. Since 2022, we have been presenting samples of plants according to the environment in which they are found.

Friday:
9am / 11am: botanical outing no. 1 at Le Lautaret (meet at the crevasse path car park)
9am / 11am: botanical outing no. 2 at Le Bez (meet at the tourist office entrance)
11am / 12pm: magnifying glass activity
1pm / 5pm: children's workshop
14h30 / 16h30: Chinese painting workshop
17h / 19h: lecture by Gérard Duvallet

- Les Orchidées - Jean-Michel Blais from the Société française d'Orchidophilie PAVZ
- La graine, en grand! Conservatoire botanique national alpin in collaboration with photographer Jean-Claude Cerre

Saturday:
9am / 11am: botanical outing no. 3 at Le Casset (rdv car park north of Le Casset)
9am / 11am: Botanical outing n°4 at Le Lautaret (meet at the car park for the sentier des crevasses)
9h / 11h : Plantnet outing-workshop n°5 at Le Lautaret (meet at the car park for the sentier des crevasses)
11h / 12h : Rope workshop
13h / 17h : children's workshop
2pm / 3pm: hemp weaving
2pm / 3pm: magnifying glass animation
3pm / 5pm: rope workshop
3pm / 4pm: determination animation
5pm / 7pm: lecture by Anne-Marie Granet

Partnership with the Jardin alpin du Lautaret: €2 discount on garden admission with your Journées Botaniques ticket and with the Salle les Alpes library for the determination animation.

Sunday:
9am / 11am: botanical outing no. 6 at Le Galibier (meet in the car park behind the Parc des écrins house), Masterclass for experienced amateurs
9am / 11am: botanical outing no. 7 at Le Lautaret (meet in the Lautaret car park)
2pm / 3pm: magnifying glass activity
3pm / 4.30pm: guided tour of the exhibition
17h / 19h: lecture by Robin Veyron
