Carton Race 2025

The craziest race of the summer with boats built only from cardboard and tape

The idea is to create an original boat using only cardboard and tape.
The tape must be biodegradable, and will be supplied by Rafting Expérience.
Cardboard and adhesive tape must not be painted or covered under any circumstances.
Cardboard and paper may be used as long as they are neither polluting, nor pre-treated, nor originally waterproofed, nor subsequently treated or painted on the internal and external parts.
The boats must be constructed using adhesive tape removed from the Rafting Expérience white water base.
For safety reasons, participants must wear:
A life jacket, helmet, overalls, closed shoes.
All individual equipment will be loaned by Rafting Expérience on the day of the event.

Programme:
13h Meeting at the base to build the boats (you can also bring a boat that has already been built)
16h30 Boat homologation
17h Launch of the races and floating challenges
Prize-giving at the water's edge
18h30 Festive evening at the Youth Hostel
