Natural stroll in L'Epine
A few minutes away from Serres by car on the road to Nyons, the village of L'Epine offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Buëch country in the Hautes-Alpes department. The best part of this trail is its unique landscape, with small valleys formed by marls. 50 minutes away from Sisteron and Gap, this nature stroll is easily accessible for the whole family.
Starting point at the municipal Hostel of L'Epine or from the second parking lot after the village, where the trail starts. During your hike, follow the yellow signs.
After following along the fields, a light slope going up will take you to the blue marls.
Follow this trek by going down to cross the stream with tuff formations. Follow this path then go right to follow the sign ' Sentier d’interprétation '.
Go back up slowly following the Rioupape ravine.
This loop will bring you back to the first crossroad you took earlier. Follow the road back.
