During the summer, Astroguindaine offers astronomy courses in the chalet at La Guindaine. Our main aim is to share our passion, to teach you how to find your way around the sky and how to use a telescope.
Perched at an altitude of 2000 m, this beautiful isolated house is a remarkable spot to study the starry sky.
Astronomy at La Guindaine means :
Observing the starry sky in the evening, free from light pollution.
The transparency of a mountain sky at 2000m altitude.
The possibility of using the association's telescopes on site.
Located in the commune of Villar d'Arène, in the remarkable natural setting of the Pays de la Meije, a few kilometers away from the Lautaret and Galibier passes, La Guindaine is at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park, close to La Grave.
